Personal Style- Tulle Skirt, Crop Top… Yet Again!

Hey Darlings.
So I have decided to rename the posts that showcase what I wear/wore to “Personal Style”.
Been wanting to give it a better title, so I got the idea from modavracha.com.

So for everytime that I put up a post titled “personal style”, it’d basically show my eclectic sense of style, with me definitely leaving you to judge.

So apparently, I cannot get enough of tulle skirts, and so I had to improvise.
I got a similar material to that of my tulle skirt, kind of like a bridal material, the one I wore HERE, for 150 naira per yard;(you probably can get a better quality, no idea really); I bought 5 yards; and then gave it to a tailor, who sewed it for 800 naira.

I didn’t quite like it, but somehow it’s manageable, so a honest advice from me would be to give a really good tailor to make it for you and get a better grade of tulle.

Have a beautiful week ahead.

Style Feature- Eku Edewor

Hello guys.
Happy Friday.
Today’s style feature is a British Nigerian actress, television presenter model and also a designer’s muse. Plus she has an identical twin.
She was featured in an old post on the blog a long while ago, HERE, but my friend Akin reminded me about her deserving a lone post.

So here we go.

Remember you can always send pictures of yourself or people you believe are stylish to my email eclecticstyle.me@gmail.com, for a chance to be featured on the blog

So.. What do you think of her sense of style?

The GTBank Capsule Collection- Lagos Fashion And Design Week 2014

According to Wikipedia, a capsule collection “has come to refer to a collection of clothing which is designed using only interchangeable items, in order to maximise the number of outfits which can be created “
“According to Susie Faux, a capsule wardrobe is a collection of a few essential items of clothing that will not go out of fashion, such as skirts, trousers, and coats, which can then be augmented with seasonal pieces.”
Here are GTBank’s capsule collection picks from the Lagos Fashion And Design Week 2014.

The GTBank Lagos Fashion And Design Week- Day 4

I was opportuned to attend the finale of the Lagos Fashion And Design Week 2014, which was held from October 28 to November 1, thanks to my amazing friend Laila Rahman of Leylarhcadne.com. Totally capped my wonderful week.
Even though the event started a bit late, it ended up being a beautiful show!. Celebrities and the creme de la creme of the Nigerian fashion industry attended this event.
Nigerian fashion is definitely upping it’s game, and all of the designers who showcased their 2015 designs, really did AMAZING Jobs.
Check out the other days of the event which I have blogged on for your convenience.
Get your popcorn and drinks ready.
